Medicine Ball Exercises - Increase Your Power

Medicine ball exercises are performed with a medicine ball (also known as an exercise ball, med ball, or a fitness ball) roughly the size of a volleyball or basketball.

It is a tool often used for rehabilitation but for tennis training it serves an important role in the field of strength training and power training.

It should not be confused with the larger and lighter swiss ball.

Medicine balls come in many sizes and weights and as previously mentioned are predominantly used in plyometric training and core/abdominal training to increase explosive power and core stability.

The best way to up the power on all of your strokes is to incorporate medicine ball training into your schedule. Try these drills and watch your opponents run for cover!!!
